How to choose the right PTK®
What's the difference between solvent-based and premium?
Solvent-based grades (PTK® 700, 800, 900, 1000) are economical with excellent initial tack — ideal for paper, cartons and labels. Premium adhesives (PTK® 910, 1200, 1600) offer higher temperature resistance, better ageing and stronger adhesion on LSE (low surface energy) materials like PP, PE and coated paper.
Which grade is the economical alternative to international brands?
PTK® 910, 1200 and 1600 are positioned as excellent alternatives to similar high-quality variants of international brands — at competitive Indian pricing with local technical support.
Which grade for invitation boxes and posters?
PTK® 700 for thin stock; step up to PTK® 800 if the substrate is textured or you need more tack.
Which grade for metal nameplates?
PTK® 900 or PTK® 1000 for standard metal bonding. For premium/long-life applications, PTK® 1600 (flagship premium grade) is recommended.
Which grade for LSE materials (PP, PE, coated paper)?
Any of the premium grades — PTK® 910, 1200 or 1600 — based on the strength you need.
Do you guarantee the full length on every reel?
Yes — every PTK® reel ships with the full advertised metres. Length is verified at the slitter before despatch.
