About PTK® 1600
What PTK® 1600 is
PTK® 1600 is a premium double-sided tissue tape — adhesive coated on both sides of a thin tissue carrier, laminated with a printed "PTK®" release liner for controlled release at high slitter speeds. The premium adhesive on PTK® 1600 delivers higher temperature resistance, better long-term ageing and strong adhesion on LSE (low surface energy) materials like PP, PE and coated paper — where solvent-based tapes typically struggle.
When to use this grade
This premium grade sits at the top of the PTK® series. Use it when the substrate is plastic (PP, PE), coated paper, metal nameplates or anywhere long-term adhesion is critical. Available in any slit width from 12 mm to 1200 mm, and any length up to 500 m — slit and shipped to your spec. Default reel: 12 mm × 500 m.
